I, am heading to the back forty, later today, as it warms up. I, did find 2 new bottles, from the 1940s. Both, with lids still on.

Don't forget to use netted bags TO let the spores drop & re-seed for more. )I use the kind from oranges)
Also, cut, don't pull them!

My son sent us morels from out of state, he purchased them. Where he lives it's been a lot warmer and drier for the past few weeks.
I'm curious how everyone prepares their morels?
We've always; soaked them overnight in water in the fridge to remove all sand and grit,
cut them in half, dip in an egg wash, roll them in finely crushed soda cracker crumbs,
then fry them in a combination of salted Butter and Butter flavored Crisco,
Drain on paper towels, and ENJOY !
Natures Gourmet, for sure !
