God forbid the oil company having to absorb the cost of any repairs when it is easy enough to pass that cost on to the consumer. Sure wish I had that option.

So, that means they're basically being "opportunistic" and taking advantage of consumers during an alleged "crisis"... "Price Gouging" - In less precise usage, it can refer either to prices obtained by practices inconsistent with a competitive free market, or to windfall profits...What irks me the most is they like linking every locale in Illinois into Chicago, no matter how far away it is...There is NOTHING about Chicago that represents those of us who don't live there...

Gas has been $2.20-2.60 the last 2 weeks, everywhere that I've been. It was nice to get back to Streator and fill up at $2.
I also noticed Streator McDonald's sweet tea was still $1. It's gone up to $1.35 at the McDonald's around where I work.
I must've missed the post being grateful that gas was $2 in town when higher elsewhere. *rolls eyes
Edit to correct auto correct

Did gas go down? I just got home, and it's $2.35. I had to fill up at $2.49 on the way home this morning. I expected it to be up higher here, too. From this post
