Where do you fish at? Favorite fish to fish for? Throw back or keep? Eat your catch? Have a taxiderm stuff your fish to hang on wall? Night fishing, early morning, or does not matter time of day to fish? Attempted hillbilly hand fishing? What is your biggest catch? Good fish story? Do you ice fish?

Branson for trout and bass. Reelfoot Lake for crappie, BASS and bluegills. Been a long time ago. My Dad would take a fishing trip in the Spring when the local rivers got too polluted to fish. I got to go w/him and his fishing buddy.

Are you an avid fisherman?
My "boys; hubby, sons, grands" are ALL Avid fisherman, they learned from my Father. Fishing is in the blood in our family.
The boys go to WI each year once school is out. They are mostly Walleye fishing, then hubby and oldest Grand head further North in WI to Muskie hunt for a week.
Late summer into fall, we head to Woman Lake in MN and fish for Crappie, Walleye, Lrg. & Sml. Mouth Bass, and hubby Muskie Hunts. We try to catch our limit, this hasn't happened in a while. My days of fishing are very limited, so hubby hunts for Muskie A LOT alone which Muskie are very elusive fish to catch.
As for around here; we have family that live on the Vermillion, there's a lot of bank fishing. We don't eat fish out of the rivers which is too bad. We've had family catch some great fish from the banks. One in particular; my Grand caught a Smallie that was huge for him being a little guy who wasn't supposed to be fishing when he caught it. Caught it on a dried up piece of worm on a rod left on the banks. Funny picture, he didn't know whether to be excited or if he was in BIG trouble.

Before my husband became disabled we'd go fishing for crappie, or set night-lines out for catfish. We used to go to a place known as 'the point' which was quite a hike through the woods along the Vermillion way to the north of the Oakley Avenue bridge. It was a very good fishing and camping spot back in the day...but don't know how it is though now. I miss fishing............... M

I hope to go more this year with the kids as they are getting older. It's just a good time with conversation.

Actually saw some people yesterday afternoon fishing on the vermillion. I was kinda surprised though. But at least they were keeping out of trouble.

Met my neighbor on my dog walk this AM. He is taking his two young sons fishing at a farm pond for crappie. (I hinted, but was not invited. *sniff* *sniff*)

Did you call and let them know? I've never had a bad experience there. If I ever do at any place I make sure to let them know since I am the one paying for it.
