We replaced our 1980's faucet last summer for a high arched, tap / touch, on / off with NO regrets. I have a very small kitchen with small amount of counter space.
This faucet allows me to turn the water on and off without the need of having a container of Lysol wipes set out while prepping food. I am very pleased with it.
At first I was fearful of water splattering all around the counters; NO problems. We changed from an over mount sink to an under mount, this may help with the water splatter issues due to the high arched faucet?
What I would change; we did not purchase the built in hand soap dispenser. We purchased the separate dispensers with the sensors. I find these to be nice, they seem to dispense just the right amount of soap without having to touch them as well.
I find myself asking; why didn't these items exist when I had 4 extra mouths to feed and 8 more hands to deal with germs? lol !

My kitchen drain lines leak. We plugged them so they don't. Quick fix, but the idiot that installed the PVC GLUED THE CONNECTIONS! I'll probably have to have the entire sink and faucets replace......later. I got a GUY who can do this, but have better things to do on my budget. Food, Utilities ect.

I have a Swanstone kitchen sink, and a high end delta faucet. 1 of my 5 Moen faucets leak, but they're 25 years old so go figure?
My sink is one large single bowl that's very deep...about 33 wide! Just have to be careful not to put hot things in it, and not to gouge it deeply when scrubbing pots.

I had one that was 18 years old and started dripping. just for laughs I called the company to see what they would say. the lady asked me how old it was after I gave her the model number off it. they promptly sent out a complete kit to overhaul it super. it is back to working like new and not cost to replace it.

We did ALL of; that in the " 80's. "
That was when we actually had $ to do "it, right...... NOT !
Though " Oak " seems to be a thing of " the past, " they are custom made by the Amish out of Arcola. We used a place called; " Countryside Kitchens " SOMEWHERE between Grandridge and Lowell. The Amish constructed and built the cabinets, the guy who stained the dabinets owned Countryside Kitchens, his wife did the designs.
I'm not sure why the Amish did the delivery; their names were on the delivery trucks. We will never see our financial return come time to sell this home..... I look at this way; This IS my " forever home " and I've been able to enjoy and be happy here, AND these cabinets WILL outlive me...
(we were given a Pint jar of the stain, it remains usable after ALL of these years.)

The Delta faucet I chose had a magnetic catch when you push the sprayer back into the faucet neck, that's what sold me, other faucets relied on the counter weight under the sink to pull the sprayer back, this has both.

Mm, many people are refinishing their cabinets. Some beautiful results posted on pinterest. The kit is readily available, and inexpensive. My friend bought a house with oak cabinets and refinished them in a dark cherry finish, and it looks amazing. Like brand new cabinets. She did good.
Ive been reading on the concrete countertops for years, as i love that look. Now available to resurface formica.
Ive also been watching a blogger that pinned her results of painting her kitchen and laundry room vynil floors. She did it in 2013, and are holding up.
If you need it done, check pinterest. Someones already tried it, and willing to share their steps, and how its holding up.

Lol. Get on pinterest. Ive seen at least 2 posts about lazy suzans The laundry rm rehab that i love, was $55. The resurfacing of the counters was less than $100. Lots of great ideas, from women that want the high end looks, on todays budgets.
