Rocky! My Robins are still on the nest this morning. I almost sat on my swing in back, just to take it all in. But having just got up from bed.........

One fledgling, left on front porch. Garage has several babies, just hanging out in garage. Finally left last noc.

Birds are still on the nest. But I set up a feeder yesterday nearby and set one up by the front porch. I just looked out and the garage feeder is doing a good business, the birds have not discovered the feeder in front yet. Mom put out her Hummingbird feeder by the porch near the red colored plants in our hanging baskets. We should see some hummers soon.

Couldn't figure out why my hummer feeders were always empty the day after I filled them. Hubby set up his trail cam. Caught red handed..a coon was reaching up and tipping the feeders so he could drink. Hummer feeders are now on taller shepard hooks.

June 15th marks the beginning of season for those who want to hunt bullfrogs in Illinois. The season continues through August 31st, with a limit of up to eight bullfrogs each day, 16 total in possession. No size limit applies.
