From the posts I have seen on Facebook the interstates and state roads hadn't been plowed either and that was at 7am. Usually when there is a lot of snow predicted they will let the guys sleep all night because they know they will be out all day. Then then get the state roads in town first followed by the major streets in town. Then they do the side streets. Do you have somewhere to be? This snow was predicted and most of what needs to be done today could have been done yesterday. My neighborhood hasn't been touched yet either. I have nowhere to be.

They are plowing the main roads for now until the snow stops. Lately they don't plow the the roads until night time when there is no traffic on the roadway Getting in their way.

Seriously? Our drivers are hard workers who have a hell of a job today. We got a lot of heavy, wet snow. It's going to take some time and we are still getting more throughout the day. This afternoon its going to get windy too.

Not to mention that for each driver to plow his entire route takes about 6-8 hours depending on how wide the streets are.

If you can't get out whats the point of keeping the main roads clean.

But there was a City plow went by our house and did not even had the plow on the street.

Law enforcement is telling people to stay home and not Be out on the roads. They have multiple vehicles stranded in ditches.

I drove from Champaign last night at around 1 am. The interstates were swarming with plows. I dont think its that they aren't out, its that it's still snowing.

How did he get the car out without getting stuck? All I seen was trucks and atv's driving down the street . No cars. I am waiting for my dads cousin to come a plow me out since the snow is too deep for my tractor to plow.

Ok hubby is back. Stuck in the driveway, on way back in. Roads terrible, even ones already plowed. Side streets, not plowed, yet. All, intersections "suck". So, that is his take, at 10:47.
