I had to go to Ace today, and saw a sign on the door for a dinner at the Silver Fox benefitting the Streator Downtown Business group, sometime in Feb. Anybody know anything about it? I didn't see anything about it on the Silver Fox Facebook page.

No problem dog. Which wall do you think it will be a benefit for? The one on the privately owned building that H&R Block is in, or the one on the vacant, wide open, dangerous, dilapidated City owned building there? Thank You to SDAB for doing so much more for our downtown than the City of Streator.

Greek Salad Crisp Romaine, Kalamata olives, red onion, cucumber, feta cheese, plum tomatoes, with red wine and extra virgin olive oil vinaigrette
Pastitsio and Dolmades Baked pasta blended with and herb infused meat sauce topped with creamy béchamel and aged parmigiano reggiano cheese, served with Athenian stlye grape leaves
Mint and Oregano Meatballs Ground pork and beef meatballs seasoned with oregano and mint topped with lemon and Greek yogurt sauce, served with traditional spinach Spanakopita phyllo
Limoncello Cake Lemon flavored cake topped with a mascarpone cheese icing, a drizzle of Limoncello reduction

Heres another fundraiser to benefit downtown streator, also held at the old Masonic temple.
I was really looking forward to this one, to try out the cuisine. Unfortunately, im going to be out of town that evening.
Lol, why is it, you can go forever without having anything different and exciting to do, and then when you do, there's more than one on the same day. Sheesh. Now it will be months before i have big plans.
