I googled; oberweis dairy and got; www.oberweis.com/There is the info on home delivery and I briefly saw a Coupon. I Want that. The milk IS exactly how milk tasted when we had a milk box on our front doorstep when I was a kid...... I guess there's NO going back on how OLD I am! lol ! I purchase it at Hy-Vee or TFM in Normal. Target used to sell it but they stopped. It is pricey, as long as it's not going down the drain, it's a savings to me. As I stated I NEED the Calcium so I justify it in the budget..... also, everyone deserves a treat and this one lasts quite a while....

I opened the link and they do not deliver to Streator, if you leave your information they will contact you if and when they plan to.
The link has a wealth of information about their products and Dairy services.

THANK YOU! ^^^ Seriously the amount of milk that my husband consumes scares me with the hormones that they are allowed to put into that today. Even if we do have to pay a much higher price for it, it is WELL worth it then in my opinion. Yes sadly I am dating myself then too as I do remember milk in glass bottles.................lol. I also found a whole bag of these caps, which I think are the ones that we used to save for premiums at the Plumb Theatre way back in the day!!! M

My husband grew up on the south eastern part of Champaign, myself the north west. His milk was delivered by a horse drawn buggy and the horse wore a bonnet. We have some old black and whites somewhere. His Mom would let him take a carrot out to the horse on days of delivery. We figured he was 3 yrs. old at the time yet he remembers doing it. I CAN'T have all of the garbage that is being put into food these days in my system, it's already done it's damage. They put in there and when we get older, IT'S KILLING US. Thanks MONSANTO for the illness you advertise "Food brings families togther" NOT IN THIS LIFE !

Thanks MONSANTO for the illness you advertise "Food brings families togther" NOT IN THIS LIFE ! LOL cute story...would have loved to see a picture of the bonnet wearing horse, hahaha!!! OH GOD........ MONSANTO............. FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, which is garbage and in almost EVERYTHING.......ALL of that crap is killing all of us, and yet sadly our government allows that!! I was gonna say........don't get me started, but yes you already did, oops! Have you seen the documentary "Food Inc."? Now that is a total eyeopener! I could easily become a vegetarian or vegan, but sadly enough my husband who has many health issues is the one that wants meat, and all the dairy garbage too. For the life of me I can't convince him the consequences of eating this CRAP! Nor can I convince him to start walking with me. His thing is that he is NOT gonna look like some of those old couples he see's walking, and then I even reassure him.......... "oh honey but...WE ARE!!!" ...lol!!! What scares me is the future generations, that's what I am in fear for....their diet habits, and lack of proper nutrition. Sad when prices of meat which really grain fed beef is garbage too! Cows are herbivores and are suppose to graze and not consume HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN that is poisoned by the chemicals! This vicious circle makes it so alot of families can't afford to even buy meat to cook for their children...so they head for the $1 menu at MCBARFS, which is NOT real MEAT!!! Seriously a Happy Meal that won't decompose..........then what the hell is it? Sad what economic state we all live in........................ M

I delivered countless bottles of milk back on the day with my dad. Still have a scar on my knee where a bottle broke and gashed me.

MnM, it was Super Dairy that funded/had the FREE shows & bottle-caps auctions, not MG!

Yeah I know that it was Super Dairy...but wasn't quite sure though if it was their caps or Meadow Gold though........that being, then no wonder I haven't found any Super Dairy caps, we used them all...............lol. Wasn't going to the Plumb Theatre to do that just the best though! M

Oberweiss is supposed to start selling some select product at our own Krogers in a few weeks. Ice Cream is scheduled to be coming. Don't know about milk, eggs or other Dairy products. Keep your eyes peeled. Oh wow, now that ^^^^ is good news MM! I found it hard to believe that Kroger didn't carry any Prairie Farms dairy items either, wonder why? Oh and speaking of dairy products, and trying to buy locally made stuff..........you all need to check out "Chuck's Cheese" that Kroger's carry, that is a good friend of mines brother from Ottawa who makes that, sold at Kroger <<< plug intended! Seriously...it is very good cheese! M

MnM, your telling your hubby; " oh honey, BUT we are old " made me laugh SO hard.
I grew up a Meat Cutters daughter and the difference in meat from grocery stores in this era is disgraceful. Whatever the reason our governments purpose to convince Farmers to feed and grow our food sources with this CRAP; I Can Not wrap my head a round any of it.
A good example; feeling the need to rest / nap after consuming a meal. Our bodies are meant to be energized after refueling, not lay down, nap, and allow the calories to pile on. Then in an hour or so, get up feeling like crap with the need to consume another meal and repeat the cycle.... Uhhh, NO!
I have a disease no person should have being raised with the nutrition I begrudgingly was forced to consume and repeated by example raising my own children. When I was a child; processed foods were rare on the market shelves and fast food was for the wealthy. We were far from being wealthy. My parents priorities were; family health, paying the bills on time, and our basic education. IF there was anything left after, it went towards updates on the house or a 1 week family vacation.
As I've watched " Monsanto " commercials on television, I have to wonder; who grows this major conglomerations " ORGANIC food " they consume ( ? )
There is hope for this nation, I know this in my soul + + +
(sorry, I got a bit carried away)

I rarely shop at Krogers but will next time I want cheese. Are there any in particular that are good sharp cheddar, buttery swiss, or Bleu that stand out? Nothing like a Good cheese and A Good glass of WINE......

Yes, the Plumb was great! We had SD milk delivered & got the free tickets given to us by the delv. man. I loved the bags they gave out @ Christmas, filled w/candy, oranges & apples. My sis won a Schwin bike @ the auction w/bottle caps too. 3 of us shared that bike, but being the youngest, I didn't get much "riding" time. I'll have to check that cheese out, I usually got mine at the Cheese Shop in Ottawa, due to Krogers not lasting very long.
