Well OK then...glad someone cleared that enigma up.......lol!!! You didn't say that different kinds of milk were different prices. Go figure the worst one for you being whole is the cheapest @ .29 which my husband prefers, but definitely does NOT need, lol. So how much is skim then running, not that I would ever buy that blue watered down crap, that just is NOT milk..... ick!!!! Regardless of what grade << if that is such a thing, is priced at...you're spot on with that being a great deal! Hopefully those people buying their kids all of those polar pops @ the gas station wise up....eh? M

I WAS lactose intolerant until I purchased my first bottle of Oberweiss Milk 4 yrs. ago. Post kids in the house I was constantly throwing milk away which WASTING FOOD is my biggest pet peeve in life ! I had a bottle of Oberweiss milk in the fridge I'd forgotten was there. I opened it and expected it to be sour, NOT. I poured a small amount into a glass and it smelled fine, then tasted it which it tasted the same from nearly a month prior..... Still skeptical not wanting it to come back and haunt me in the night, I called the Dairy and explained the date of purchase and date on the bottle cap. I was informed; as long as it smells normal and tastes fresh; drink it. Yes, I pay more and have to pay a returnable fee on the bottle. In the long run; I'm able to drink milk again which my body needs, I never have to throw / waste money on milk ever again, and it tastes as I remember the way milk tasted as a child Again. The Whole milk is so rich it's like Half n Half, SO GOOD and 1%, 2%, and whole milk all cost the same. I experimented on my Mom with the 1%, she was shocked at the taste. Oberweiss does home delivery to some areas, just not Streator. I consider to be my personal treat that I splurge on..... .

Oh wow.......really? So please do post a link or something to this Oberweiss Dairy, and you say that it comes in glass bottles too then as well? I would pay the higher price for milk consumed here be healthier, because I tell my husband he drinks way way too much of it. Seriously I don't drink milk due to all of the hormones in it, today that is. The only time that I do have a glass of milk has to be with chili, otherwise I rarely ever have a bowl of dry cereal then because of too. Link or phone info here please................ Thanks............. M
