Was saddened to read that Joe C oc ker has passed away at 70. "Saddened?" Really?
Just sayin'...it takes a helluva' lot more to make me sad.
His music lives on.

Yes, i was saddened. I had that catch that many of us feel when we read news that others (like his family, friends and fans) are suffering a loss. The same as when i read uplifting news that brings a smile to my face, even if i dont know the person. Compassion? Empathy? Having a heart?

You know...I had heard his music on radio any number of times but really had never heard of him, put a name with a face until I saw the famous John Belushi parody on Saturday Night Live. I had no idea why he was contorting and flopping around the way he was. When I saw Joe C. on TV live....I got it.... Another voice of that special generation is gone. Well his music and voice will always carry on, no matter if you just found out or not for many generations.......................... Another iconic tune!!!!! M
