I like the old board games. Mom is actively putting jigsaw puzzles together. Then she passes it on to a friend. I admit that I was big on Marios Bros. I gave up after the new controllers had my son whipping the snot out of me. LOL

Guess I'm the only old guy on here that played pong,metroid,zelda,castlevania,etc.... Nah...I'll challenge you anytime to a game of Asteroids...I'd whip your butt, lol!!! When Atari first came out I bought that game system and many games for it for my husband one year for Christmas in the early '80's. We had more fun playing that, until I would just bury him, he never then played that again...............once a "jock" always! When Nintendo first came out I would help lil M figure out all the games, and I got hooked on one in particular KLAX. I ended up playing that d@mn game until I finally beat it. In fact lil M had girlfriends spending the night the night I did, and I was so excited that I finally beat it that I went and woke them all up to come and see that I had. The frustrating part though was when I did beat that game, all it did was come up at the very end saying across the screen was................."Thank you for playing KLAX, please continue to play KLAX"................. huh??? Even though we still do have both the first Atari and Nintendo game systems along with many many games...........none of us will probably ever play either of them again. although I do admit that it would be fun to do so though, maybe? My vote here, is for board games...hands down <<< oh yeah we do still have that game too........"Hands Down"............... We have a closet shelf full of old board games. The one that I truly hated to have to set up though was "Mouse Trap", and invariably every time my cousins would come over...yep, that's the game they wanted to play. I began to hate that game, because of. We do always say that we need to have a "games" night.......... I think that would be alot of fun...EM you might have prompted me to orchestrate one! M

We still have our Atari. I prefer board games and love the puzzles Mrs. DD and I share. That is what she and DD got me for my birthday. I have several Racko, Scrable, Mouse Trap, Tiddly Winks, password, and many others.

It's quite long, but well worth the watch..I remembered many on this one. Talk about a trip down memory lane, lol. Enjoy! M
