All Attorneys. The one representing the plaintiff, the one representing the defendent, and the one sitting on the bench. g Wow! I glad that no JDs were involved. You know, like the one JD in your class in high school as opposed to the three attorneys in your class. That one guy could probably spell the word "defendant." Gee, If that is the best "put down" you have have I understand why you never sat on the bench. All of my attorney friends have more class than that. "roman", you remind me of that learned attorney in the movie "My Cousin Vinny". g

Good old Greek, he makes such an easy target. "In his latest shot at me, he said: "If that is the best "put down" you have (sic) have (sic) I understand why you never sat on the bench."
You are correct in one sense Greek. I never sat on the bench; I played.

Serignese says she first met Cosby in 1976, when she was 19 and he was headlining a show at the Las Vegas Hilton. She was standing in the Hilton gift shop when Cosby approached her. "Somebody came up to me and put their arm around my neck from the back and said, 'Will you marry me?'" Serignese told HuffPost over the phone. "And I turned around to see who it was, and it was Bill Cosby." After the show she claims she was escorted back to the green room, where Cosby held out two white pills and a glass of water, saying, "Here, take these." She did. "The next memory I have was I was in a bathroom and I was kind of bending forward and he was behind me having sex with me," she said. "I was just there, thinking, 'I'm on drugs, I'm drugged.' I felt drugged and I was being raped and it was kind of surreal. My frame of mind was that it would be over soon and I could just get out of there." See this is what plants seeds of doubt in my mind. 19 or not, you just don't willingly take 2 unknown white pills............... I'm not flying one side or the other of this aisle. But it is very easy almost 40 years later to "bring" your story.

You are correct in one sense Greek. I never sat on the bench; I played. Oh now, I did not mean to offend you Job. I do believe though that most of the individuals imprisoned following Watergate were attorneys. Gee, I guess they didn't graduate from the U. of C. But, even all those attorneys that were convicted and sent to prison passed the bar exam. Certainly John Mitchell must have passed the bar exam, didn't he? g P.S. I guess I'm just not too impressed with any attorney.

Plus this is not the first time allegations have come up and like with Bill Clinton there always seem to be more.. www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2014/11/21/bill_cosby_accusers_list_sexual_assault_rape_drugs_feature_in_women_s_stories.html

JimB, Your correct of course. It's "not the first tune allegations have come up". Always ALLEGATIONS. Now proof of those allegations is a bit more difficult. Got proof? Anyone? g

I agree, sniper. Who takes any unsolicited, unknown pills from a stranger? I wholeheartedly believe that if a partner says no, it means no. But, every time i start to believe the allegations, something like that statement shows up. It was the 70s. Free love. She talks about his come on, going to the green room after the show, and willingly doing drugs. Did she ever reach a point that she wasnt willing to do what he was suggesting? Cosby has been so outspoken about blacks needing to help themselves, and angered many. Just from the insanity that a few of the members on here spew, i dont think it would be hard to find cosby detractors to jump on the band wagon. Just my opinion.

For conservatives on this board, it isn't EVER a given that the GOP is a sacred cow. I'll take the word of a soldier over ANY effing congressional body EVERYTIME! You, however, are eager to accept the committee's ruling because you feel it exonerates effing H. Clinton! You're worthless as a thinking/voting citizen.

In a Parthian shot at me, Greek said that he was not impressed with any one lawyer. I think he meant that he was not impressed because someone is a lawyer. Greek, I have never been impressed with someone simply because that person is a lawyer. There were 10,000 lawyers in Chicago when I was working, and some of those lawyers were stupid and some were corrupt.
Greek then jumped on the number of lawyers involved in Watergate to prove some elusive point. There were a few other presidents who were lawyers, however, including his hero Obama.
#2 — John Adams (Harvard, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#3 — Thomas Jefferson (College of William & Mary, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#4 — James Madison (College of New Jersey — now Princeton — then read law)
#6 — John Quincy Adams (Harvard, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#7 — Andrew Jackson (self-taught lawyer)
#8 — Martin Van Buren (Kinderhook Academy, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#10 — John Tyler (College of William & Mary, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#11 — James Polk (University of North Carolina, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#13 — Millard Fillmore (clerked for and studied under New York Judge Walter Wood)
#14 — Franklin Pierce (Bowdoin College, then studied law)
#15 — James Buchanan (thingyinson College, then studied law)
#16 — Abraham Lincoln (No formal education, a self-taught lawyer)
#19 — Rutherford Hayes (Kenyon College, Harvard law)
#21 — Chester Arthur (Union College, then studied law)
#22 — Grover Cleveland (apprenticed as a lawyer)
#23 — Benjamin Harrison (Miami University in Ohio, then studied law)
#25 — William McKinley (Allegheny College, Albany law)
#27 — William Howard Taft (Yale, Cincinnati law)
#28 — Woodrow Wilson (College of New Jersey — now Princeton — then UVA law)
#30 — Calvin Coolidge (Amherst, then apprenticed as a lawyer)
#32 — Franklin Roosevelt (Harvard, Columbia law)
#37 — Richard Nixon (Whittier College, Duke law)
#38 — Gerald Ford (University of Michigan, Yale law)
#42 — Bill Clinton (Georgetown University, Yale law)
#44 — Barack Obama (Columbia, Harvard law)

It's Bill Cosby, not the building janitor...she's young and wanting to break into show business - and you think her testimony is shaky because she assented to Cosby's pick-up lines? Okay.

Bill Cosby...serial rapist?
Trust the women or trust Cosby's lawyers, I guess.
I'm throwing in with his accusers...(because he's black, of course. you know us conservatives...we're ALL racists!)
You can ADD Kurt Cameron from the TV Series Growing Pains to the LIST of Accusers. I CAN'T FIND the Link now.
