would anyone know y my internet connection would keep dropping and then reconnecting? my dad said it dont do it on his computer and he is running off my router. Can't count on harts internet cuz most of the time there techs is out in the field and when there not im usually working. Idk if I need a new router and I dont want to buy a new one and that not be the problem. I would be at my friends house and it won't do that at his house. its saying my internet is configured correctly but the dns server is not responding. The guy at Harts dont know what the problem could be cuz he dont know anything about it the one that answers the phone.

if you have another computer that isn't having any problems connecting I wouldn't think its the routers problem. I would guess it is a file being corrupted on your computer that is causing the problem josh. try deleting your WIFI connection from the list and do it over again.

GO INTO YOU'RE PROGRAMS AND DELETE THE ONES YOU DO NOT NEED. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DELETING, YOU COULD CRASH THE COMPUTER.

Perhaps a trojan worm would do just that, sooner or later it will just crash josh.

Mine hasn't done none of that since the isp updated all my software. When I got this desktop it had windows 7. Now I look into the files and see windows 8 installed. Do not see windows 7 anymore. The isp must have switched my pc over, cause it is running as fast as cable internet does now.
