For time being I'm gonna park in Northpoint by Myers, Berry, O'Connor, & Kuzma--if you park in Taco Bell, & drive thru picks up, your car will be basically trapped in its parking place & you have to wait for the line to die down in order to pull out.

Has anyone else wondered about their pricing compared to Ottawa?
I have only braved the line once, but it sure seemed like my standard order was much higher than what it usually is in Ottawa.
I haven't been in probably 6 months, I think a trip to Ottawa is in order........

Driven by Taco Bell many times over the last few days to see how crazy the traffic is, & also to see how busy it has been; every time I have driven by, someone is making a left turn off of Bloomington St into the parking lot or drive thru. Even saw one person not pull in the turning lane they just put on their turning signal & turned into the Taco Bell parking lot. Crazy busy is right! Plus if you had a scanner you wouldn't believe ALL of the accidents now happening out there too, unreal! People it's a freakin Taco Bell for goodness sakes...people are acting as if they've never eaten at one before, and it's a new fast food joint, c'mon! I know that people are excited to have Taco Bell back here in town...but still though................................ Pffttt................... M

Other half said it would be he77 getting our truck through the drive through, he chose to walk it from old Kroger parking lot and not YELLOW STRIPE the truck.
We have the same issues with MOST drive through AND Parking places are getting smaller each year !
I get it IF you aren't driving Handicapped Accessible vehicles, but we HAVE to have a wheelchair accessible vehicle.....
Does Streator have a City Planner?

I ate at the jack in a box there just a few months ago lol Gaaaaa! I used to love what they call tacos and they made a fresh cheeseburger. At that time, 2 tacos and/or a cheeseburger were on their dollar menu.

The truck behind me at McDonalds the other day was huge, and lifted. It didnt have a problem. Also saw one in the Taco bell drive thru yesterday. Most handicapped parking places have the extra yellow diagonal space, for lift/ramp access. My grandson has a ramp that unfolds (manually) out of the side of the van.

Speaking of McDonalds, and it is somewhat related to traffic, parking, etc. doesnt it just burn your butt when you are properly in the drive thru lane at McDonalds and someone drives around all the cars in line to go to the farthest drive thru. They cant notice the yellow line that designates the actual drive thru lane. Its a single lane until you get to the split off, not two lanes in the middle of the parking lot.

Some vehicles are really pretty darn big in a parking space. I don't intentionally crowd them....but I don't cut them any slack either. If they can't park in the lines, I still keep my little bomber centered in my own. My sympathy to those with handicaps and special needs, but I know they equip mini-vans as well. There ARE options besides a full sized truck with a wheel chair carrier attached to the back. I am pretty sure I have seen normal sized cars with the carriers mounted on the back as well. Personally, I think ease of parking is just yet another advantage to a modestly sized car that gets good mileage. To each their own. I would never want something the size of a Suburban or quad cab truck with an 8 foot box. To each their own though, you just have to take the good with the bad and enjoy the choices you make. Mm, it depends on the equipment needed, if a mini van or full size van is needed. Right now my daughter has a mini van, that has a ramp put in. Theres little head clearance, and his feet are jammed up against the front seats. As he is paralyzed and has minimal head control, his chair should be reclined more, but theres not enough room. So, not every handicap is able to have the same set-up. Just saying.

Its CLEARLY marked on the pavement that its ONE lane that breaks into 2 at the Y!! Stupid line breakers!!

Unless You ARE Disabled / Or Handicapped, I don't know how you can HONESTLY comment on THE NEEDS of those who are. I'm truly happy for you that your "Bomber fits in a standard size parking space and you get good gas mileage" Obviosly you have NO Idea ofIt the expense for a mechanical Wheelchair, Nor do you get it what it would be like for a 6' 2" person to try to be comfortable for any length of time in a "Mimivan." I find it crass and disrespectful for someone who is NOT DISABLED to criticize Disabled people when you are BLESSED to be able to walk, function in a world that is finding out that Disabilities are becoming the normal with each passing year. Before you respond; you might want to think this could be YOU. NOBODY wants to think when they wake up each morning they could find their body is FAILING with each passing day. I honestly pitty people with your mind frame. You really NEED to VOLUNTEER your time you spend doing Nothing that's a CHALLENGE for you; sitting on your butt at your computer, or walking from your cozy parking space from your NON gas GUZZLING Bomber....... WITH OUR HONORABLE DISABLED VETERANS. I doubt your frame of mind would change, you already have an immature sense of Reality. Not only do I add YOU to my prayer lIst tonight, I NEED TO ASK GOD TO FORGIVE ME.... + + + As for the carriers on the back you so thoughtlessly mentioned, how long do you think Iit would take for the $.$$$.$$ Chair and carrier to be stolen? Insurance does NOT automatically REPLACE 100% of the cost of THESE. Before you comment; After surgry on both elbows, wrists, and shoulders, the mechanical chair IS NEEDED. "n"
