they are under powered and a very heavy vehicle. they are really worthless except as a status symbol. And they are ugly.

now that was a real hummer just like the armed service used. those were very expensive also. the first ones offered to the public had those 5 cylinder engines in them. the H-3 had an eight cylinder engine but would take 8 seconds to reach 60mph because of the weight. the hummers weigh in at 6,600 lbs and just don't have the power to carry that weight.

Dive, the H3 was the small 5 cylinder based upon the Colorado chassis, that's why they were rockets with the Alpha version ( V-8 )
The H2 wasn't exactly a sports car, but the one I test drove ran about like a 3/4 ton pickup..... Compared to the old Blazers and Broncos, it was a fun ride....

But I'll tell you what, it makes great engines and the ageing truck fleet will need to be replaced? Better than "eggs and ammo". g

Gas is $1.91 today. Just thought it would be good to update, as its lower in town than many of the surrounding areas. No one likes to post when it is running lower, just when its higher.
