Same thing Josh. The child is in school suspension. And this was not my child, neither. It was a parent complaining on facebook.

Instead of complaining on fb that they received a lunch that probably 1/2 the kids in school in America eat at least once a week, maybe she should be spending more time working on correcting the behavior that got him/her in suspension in the first place. Crap this is only the first quarter of school, and already suspended? They have 7 more months to get through.

Because we can't go one day without reading a bunch of whining from the chronically offended. If you don't want your kid eating peanut butter sandwiches then tell them to stop getting into trouble.

Peanut butter is good for you. Has protein in it. Nothing wrong with that.

I think its great that they get free lunches no matter what it is. if they would behave they would be eating with the rest of the class.

Maybe, it is another, 'not my kid' mentality. Consequences, to bad behaviour.(sp Words don't look correct today) Too bad kid did not have more consequences to bad behavour, and they could have eaten w/ the rest of the kids. At least they got something.

Not my kid he was a good boy he would never do that bs. Came home last night to 9 smashed pumpkins that my daughter and her uncle grew all summer now because somebodies little angel thought it would be "fun" to cause havoc on someone else's belongings I have a broken hearted 11 year old, to those parents, put a leash on your animal you are raising!!!!

Disgusting. I'm sorry she had to go through that. It truly is a sad reflection on today's society. Give her a hug for me....Tell her Uncle FM says Hi!

That kid prolly didn't mind the PB&J, his mama who does is the reason he's like that ... obviously.
BTW, like mm said, many of us didn't have a good home-life, but we didn't act like idots either. If some parents were nuttzy, kids looked to other family, friends, neighbors, ministers, priests, youth leaders, teachers etc.. for mentors. We also had good wholesome TV shows that we learned from & knew we'd grow up & be able to change our circumstances.
