There is no getting a handle on EV68, it will have to burn itself out.
I am not sure they can handle Ebola either, now we find out the second Nurse reported to the CDC her temperature was elevated and they cleared her to fly anyway.
The incompetence is truly staggering.

They are the only ones who continually TRAIN on this and worse stuff.
Oh yea, they also aren't politically appointed.

Sniper, Thanks for stepping up and making a decision. I thought the U.S. Military was trained by the Federal Government, paid by the Federal Government, and took and oath to obey the Commander-in-Chief, somehow I thought this would be against your principles to have the Federal Government be in charge of any program. But, I would agree no State Government, no "well trained Militia", nor any "Talking Heads" from any new network are capable of containing Ebola or EV-D68. Who do you suppose trains the U.S. Military to handle those situations in other counties? Thanks guy. g  |

When planes flew into our buildings on 9-11 and caused chaos how long did it take before there wasn't anything but military aircraft in the skies greek. Maybe its not the person at the top but those he chooses to help him lead that make many of the decisions. Seems like the CDC to me Greek to answer your question..The answer to what the problem is can be found in the sentence above this... |

Dog, Why didn't you address my entire reply? g Which part were you concerned with? I dont really get the jist of what you are asking me, but I will give it a shot. I am fine with having a federal government providing us a military to defend us from foreign enemies. I thank them for their services too. I dont think I have said that a federal government isnt necessary, I just dont agree with you on what the limits on that government should be. |

Greek, this is where you fall apart. 1.) The Military is NOT "trained" by FedGov. They are trained by themselves. 2.) The Federal Government pays for NOTHING. WE, the people pay for the Military. You really need to understand that my friend. 3.) Your most GLARING, GRIEVOUS error though is when you intimate that they take an oath to the CIC. That is so startlingly WRONG it boggles the mind. Each member of the military in fact swears to uphold the CONSTITUTION against enemies, both foreign and domestic. Given your myopic understanding of our Constitution though, I guess I expected nothing less. |
