SO ROCKET if you wanted to know then why didn't you just go over and be neighborly and ask perhaps IF they needed any help in moving, just a thought? Especially if the curiosity was killing you. I do get that you are "concerned"...BUT what everyone else here is missing that there have been MANY MANY homes burglarized in daytime, in plain sight of their neighbors by thieves who brazenly came with moving vans, u-hauls...and whatever and ROBBED many people. I suggest for all to keep an eye on all of your neighbors property, IF you see something totally out of context then yes go inquire, call your neighbors, etc! Just saying, you never know............................ M

No,Tosh your neighbor next to you is moving. Either you are not noticing them moving or your neighbor told you and ask you not to say anything to anyone.

And mnm made a very good reason for letting neighbors know if you are moving out. Here is another reason, your neighbors don't know you moved and then make a wasted check well being call to police. Idk if police will break in the home to see if you are in there but if they do that was another wasted time damaging your home only to find no one there.

Idc if they are moving,i just don't want them using me as the excuse for the move. Which it does seem to be the case here. I have done nothing to that neighbor, only to find that this person blocked me on fb for some reason back in june and then has been staying somewhere else all summer long and now slowly moving their stuff out and going somewhere else.
I am sick of everyone pointing the finger at me to blame. Been going on since I moved out of my parents house back in 2002. The other place I was renting before moving here, the tenants were accusing me of nosing into there private business even one was so eager to move out to get away from me,except I beat them to the punch 1st. This tenant decided to stay since I moved out of the building. That is one reason I refuse to go back to renting again. 1 reason 99% of your rights are gone when you rent from someone. It is their property and their right to violate your rights under their rules they put in place that you have to accept before they will rent to you.

I'm the first to agree that if you see someone who doesn't belong, snooping around your neighbors, then by all means, check it out. Call the cops, or ask what they're doing, notify the neighbors, all of the above, but do something.
That clearly was NOT what this was stated to be about. These weren't strangers. Rocket stated he knew them as his neighbors, and well enough to be fb friends at one time. This wasn't even 'strange' activity. It was a neighbor either moving out, or just getting rid of unwanted stuff.

I am going to clear up this matter. The things being moved, were being stored for another person. She works days and the ONLY time she is available to move is later in the day. So, noone is moving, you are not the 'cause' as it is not happening. However, you will soon have new nice neighbors to your west. What a nice nice family. I so hope you welcome them. You missed a good open house, where you could have met them, if you haven't already. So, now, I hope this puts to rest your fantasy. OH and I did forget, yes her daughter DID move out, to get her own place.

I agree with the neighborhood watch and all.It seems some may take that to an excessive level though...If I know its my neighbor in his yard and they look like they need help I would go ask and then not worry about them

That to me is blaming me on something. And no those new people already looks to be trouble for me. I am betting the cops and ceo will be around after they move in. No one else seems to have a problem with my property. But when you are on a fixed income and parts, gas and equipment maintence cost more then what I get, things here are put on hold. So if people have a problem how my place looks volunteer to help me out instead of calling the cops or city on me . That's what I would do if my neighbors are having trouble with maintaining there property,is help them out the best I can. But as you see HOW NEIGHBORLY your neighbor is by blocking me on fb. I have even went out 3-4x to pick up their garbage cans that blew down the street and put them up by their door without asking. I do watch who comes and goes from there and in recents past took pics of who was there when they weren't home and sent them the pics via fb message so they could see if they knew who it was that stopped by.. Since watching out for the neighbors caused me to be blocked on fb by them, I will no longer watch who comes and goes and turn a blind eye to anything suspicious as long as it is not on my property. I will only take care of business when it is on my property and will leave cops out of my problems and take matters into my hands when an sob comes on my property to steal from me. So I tried being neighborly and that was the thanks I got from them. No more will I associate with anyone on the block.

So sorry, that is your loss, as our neighborhood, is better than ever. I have no clue why she blocked you, nor do I care. I can't wait for the new neighbors. Their children, are so cute and I am going to help them plant. You are more than welcome, to come help us.
