I think Greekgod meant amount, not rate. roman, Correct, Sniper and I do pay the same RATE, but being "self-employed", I do not have a Nanny Corporation contributing a "matching" amount. So, I have to pay a greater AMOUNT. But, it's worth it to be "free" of a Corporate Nanny. g

That 6-1/4 percent doesn't come from the Manna tree, despite what you and your lying Government want the serfs to believe. The only thing you are "free" of is intelligence.

Vacation, PTO, sick days, etc are all figured in there too. It is all figured in to the total compensation that an employee gets. Granted, he never sees that in his gross on his paycheck, but we all know that it is part of his unseen gross.

Sniper, Obviously you never filed a Tax Form listing yourself as being Self-Employed. Hiding something, from the IRS are you? I do pay a CPA to make certain it correct, and yes I've been audited. Never paid a fine or pentalty. Oh and I have to make the proper withheld deductions for my employees. Stay with the Nanny Corp. and take your short form to anyone you want. g P.S. Keep repeating your Mantra. In 7 or 10 years maybe I can be a free man.

Greek, your fertilizer isn't working as well, look around you, people are finally waking up.
I have no opportunity to hid anything from the IRS like you do. There is the old saying though, "Methinks thou doth protest too much"
I think we may have hit a good reason for you to remain anonymous, hiding income is a bad thing. ( PS, since you are a "businessman", I assume you also know your CPA only knows what you tell him? )
As for you EVER being a free man? Won't happen, you worship at the altar of the dollar too strongly.

Greek and Sniper,
All you guys seem to care about is money. I have no pension, but I am not worried. Remember: "Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Well Roman, that depends on how one counts their riches.

Well Roman, that depends on how one counts their riches. Sniper and Greek are talking about cold, unfeeling cash.

I am as far removed from worshiping money as it gets in this town.

This thread went from talking about Flips to talking about money that someone may or may not have. Childest. No one is better than the next person.
