That can be frustrating. Myself, I like to be ready early. Not always possible when one has to work late, but in general, I'm a timely person. But, I'm a list maker, too. If I plan on going somewhere, i think about what I'm wearing ahead of time. I'm also a purse collector, too. and boots. I have every color, style, height. Casual and dress. Fashion industry says they are no longer in style. I don't care. I love my boots as much as my rainbow of flip flops. (That's for tosh, who hates flip flops )

Hmmm...I don't think I mentioned body glitter, making anyone late, or indecisiveness. Lol. And when you say, "no, not even a little bit", are you REALLY meaning to convey to your wife that you DON'T appreciate her 'cleaning' up for you?? Lol, id be putting you in the dog house for THAT sentiment I rock a pony tail most days for work. my guy appreciates me in scrubs, or in a sweat soaked T & shorts, with sweat dripping off my nose, doing yard work. or paint splatters in my hair. but, when I meet him at the door dressed up, it's a nice reminder that I can still rock a skirt or whatever. I feel the same with him. He looks good to me in his work clothes, all sweaty and a little grimy. but, when he cleans up... all I was saying was it's nice to have a place to go, that makes a special evening. I understand. If that gives you enjoyment, by all means. If someone else dining that night is not in the same mode it shouldn't diminish your enjoyment. The getting all dolled up stuff can go to excess. One of my exes. would take an hour or more before she could leave the house to go much of anywhere. Makeup almost constantly. No Thankyou. She would take clothes out and ponder which one to wear and then move on to the purse department. It was excessive, tedious, tiresome and entirely unnecessary. www.stupidvideos.com/video/commercials/What_Clothes_to_Wear/

I put on a suit about once a year, usually for a funeral.

Then you are cool with a pair of Coveralls, long as we wash the pig stink off of them? A long time ago, I was riding with a friend of mine when we went past a hog farm that was especially pungent that day. I said whooooo-weeeeee. He just smiled and said it smelled like money in the bank to him. (His family was hog farmers) Changes your perspective some. Yep, a long time ago, in a store far away, I used to LOVE to have that smell cross my threshold. They ALWAYS paid cash, never bought based upon price, but suitability to the task. The other guy always wanted to deal with well dressed clients, who usually would stiff you for a nickle if they could.........

Back on topic some: In today's trying economic times and generally more casual attire, would a restaurant be well-served by having a strict dress code in our area? Is Bullheads really that upscale? Is it a smart business move? I would think having the old clause of reserving the right to refuse service to anyone would give them a good out if a client was terribly out of line. You would be bankrupt in a month. You can still refuse service based upon actions though........ Nobody wants to be around disruptive diners.
