I use to swim there when I was a very young kid. I wish them the best and likely will fish out there.

It's sounds like the owner is starting off to a good start.

I checked out the website. It lists you can rent an rv out there for $70 with the fishing, swimming included? Am I reading that right?

There was a nice article in the Times about how hard these new owners have worked to make it serve the public again. I went swimming there as a kid. Later, a girl I was seeing was a lifeguard there. Her brother was a lifeguard at the Municipal pool.

I went there to check out the place a few weeks ago. You can rent a site, OR you can rent an RV and the site. It is a nice alternative for those who want to camp, but don't want to invest in an RV only to use it a few times a year. Of course, you can't rent the RV and take it off the premises. It is only for rent on-site. Chris and Jessica have done a lot of work to get it ready for this season and have plans to keep improving. I wish them all the best. I'm going to have to drive down there soon and check out the place. That's really a good deal for renting the RV with the site, fishing, swimming and all included.

How is the swimming pond? is it full of vegetation or has it been cleared back partway for a nice, sandy bottom where you don't have to be i the slimy mossy stuff?
