Looks great on the corner across from the park. I know it is not a total bed and breakfast, but private houses and B&Bs are the way to go. I love old houses, fixed up, like that. Kudos, to the owners. A very nice attraction, to our wonderful area, of the City Park.

A B and B is sooo much better than a chopped up old house full of small apts. i.e My folks old house at Vermillion and Lundy.

I prefer a B&B over a hotel/motel, any day of the week.

Did 2 weeks in Ireland all spent at B&Bs with the exception of 1 night in a hotel. Would definitely recommend the B&B route over the hotels, people are so much nicer and personable in B&Bs than the hotels IMO, met a lot of other travelers through meals and socializing in general that you don't seem to get at a hotel.

We stayed at the Dells, one time and the house was owned by a Russian family. It was costumery(sp), to serve vodka w/ breakfast. We stayed there a week, and had a blast!!!! It was with in walking distance of downtown. Thankfully.

Thank you, Toshiko, for the kind words about Baldwin House. You are right, it is not a B&B, it's better! The first floor is rented on a short term (daily or weekly) basis and sleeps 6 people comfortably. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, fully furnished living room, dining room, and sunroom. Guests enjoy privacy and all the comforts of home when away from their own. I will be happy to take you thru for a peek if you are interested. Hope you are doing well! Toni (aka the milk lady)
