I have a lot of woodpecker action out there these days, more so than in the winter ?

I have lots of hummingbirds and yellow finches this year.

Except for the robins, I just have not seen as many birds as in the past years.

We continue to have a varied representation, in spite of, both an owl & a Cooper Hawk who come regularly to the yard outside our kitchen window. The only species that seems to be completely avoiding us is crows. And they are one of my favorite types. This has been a very good year for bird watchers.

I have had various types of birds this year so far. I am only feeding them niger seeds and cracked corn now.

Still no more hummers, but tons of cardinals, finches, and even some cow birds. Killer has left and should be returning soon.
