I sat having my coffee today at my kitchen table, and during which watched two robins try as they might tear some twine off of an electric pole we have where our pool was plugged into. It was quite comical their determination to take off with this cord. I almost felt compelled to head out there and cut it off, for their taking. The two robins worked on this for about an hour...I should have recorded it............... Birdbrains........................ M

New robins setting up on the front porch. Sparrows and house finches, fighting over the other nest in other corner. Fish are still skiddish(sp), since heron here a few weeks ago. Having a hard time training them, to eat oranges.
