This isn't really a recipe but lately we have been cooking our frozen pizzas on the grill for a quick meal. They cook better on that than they do in the oven. One of these days we will try a homemade pizza on it. We usually just cook the Jack's pizzas on it but will try a Butch's pizza this weekend.

Long island ice tea.......yummy! comes with (5) shots do not drive after this drink. Are those really good? I've always thought about ordering one but have been too much of a chicken. I usually stick with what I know I like. Like a Jalapeno Margarita from Applebees! Oh! That is fantastic. I just need someone to start carrying the jalapeno tequila around here so I can make one myself.

Yes they are very good, however, do not get that made up in a bottle long island, it's not nowhere as good. Margarita was my favorite drink years ago....... now I just get heart burn from them lol

Also add... "Potato Packets" on the grill. This recipe is total simplicity... potatoes, perfumed with rosemary and olive oil. RECIPE INGREDIENTS: About 1/3 cup olive oil 2 lbs. new potatoes, sliced thinly (1/4-inch) 2 slices of a sweet Spanish onion, or 4 slices yellow onion, thinly sliced 3/4 tsp. dried rosemary leaves or 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary leaves 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper or pinch of cayenne pepper 1. When the fire is lit but not ready, lay out 8 pieces of foil (about 12 by 8 inches) and brush with olive oil. Shingle an eighth of the potatoes in a circle in the center of each piece of foil. Break the onion slices into rings and scatter evenly over each potato ring. Equally divide the remaining olive oil, rosemary, salt, and pepper over the potatoes. 2. With the potato rings intact, bring the two large edges of foil to the center, sealing firmly. Fold over the other two short edges to seal. Place on a medium or medium-hot fire for 20 to 25 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through. (NOTE!! Cooking in foil packets is not an exact science, so remember to check one packet after 20 minutes for doneness and to make sure the bottom isn't burning. If necessary, finish cooking with another foil sheet under the packets.) Serves 8. This sounds good. I think it will be my dish to pass at a party we are going to this weekend.

When we first began housekeeping Cornish hens were a fall/winter treat, now we generally only have them in summer on the grill. We marinade in a milk or yogurt spiced bath for a few hours, split them down the back, in order to lay them flat, & in a very short time we are enjoying them. Back in our early years we figured 1 bird per person, now we each can manage only a half bird, & as our co-horts are rather antique as well, we now plan for 1 bird for each couple:-)
