compromise on Gods word you then say God is not as important as your agenda. You then say it is ok for a little sin. A sin in Gods eye is a sin, the hows that it was committed dose not really matter. If you honestly beleive that God sent his son to the earth to die on the cross to take the sins of all away, then all you have to do is ask for his forgiveness and your sins will be taken away. But when you get use to compromises you might wait to long to ask. Just like in the big flood era. Waited to long and ended up knocking on the Arks door , but it could not be opened for them. (TO LATE) . Take Gods word serious. Do you think that the Creator of the Cosmos is really male, or do you think that this particular human designation was used by Biblical writers on account of their cultural bias supporting male authoritarian figures? There is the surface structure of a religion for the masses and then there are available deeper levels of understanding. There are hundreds of good books and videos available that will enhance a person's individual search for understanding creation and the Creator. I think it's fine if a person decides that a simple explanation is sufficient for them...maybe something along the lines of - God is Love Itself, think and act only with the intent to express and reflect Love Itself - that simple thought pretty much covers the reason for living for most people striving to live according to Godly precepts, IMO. Most people are far more concerned about what's on TV or what they're going to buy next...or just plain surviving...to care much about religion or anything else that asks them to really think.

I believe in a creator. That creator is God, Heavenly Father, Abba, or anything else you would like to call him that is respectful of a being that has the ability to create everything you know and also what you don't know. I believe in the bible. I believe it is the words God gave man to make us understand. I believe God created a being in his own image. Why? Because he passed word to us. One of these days the truths will come out. If I'm wrong no big deal, I havn't lost anything. But if I'm right it will be so much better.

Butterbean, Are you now DBA "God's Gate Keeper"? If we all believe the same as does "dustoff", are we "in fine shape" as well? Will God smile on us, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT APPROVE of our political beliefs, economic beliefs, social status, the country in which we were born, sex, race, sexual preference, or the arrangement of the genes on our chromosomes? Trust me Butterbean, I do not think "dustoff", or anyone else needs your or my "seal of approval", as being in "fine shape" in their belief in God.. g .

Perhaps I can enter the Kingdom of God by being led to Christ by attending the Church that gave you the Salvation you sought. Isn't that what Christians want to do for the non-Christians. Where may I join you in Worship? g

Butterbean, Gee, could we go together to "Obama's old church"? Is it possible that we could share the message of Salvation there? Why do you deny me the joy of Christian fellowship by sharing the Sabbath with you in the Chuch you attend? Am I missing something? Does your Chuch permit those who support Obama to attend? g

Better yet, stop embarrassing yourself with your goofy posts.

I'll tell you what, as a "slammed dunked, born again Protestant", I really love Pope Francis, I bet you do too. Peace Be With You. g
