I wonder why: My few laying hens that they threw a fit about haven't created near as much of a mess.

I would think the employees would be required to break them boxes down before placing them there.

Not if you don't care where the stuff gets blown to, or for that matter any of the negative things that happen on our streets. I came to decide a long time ago that they just don't care what the rest of us are left to deal with.

Maybe call the disposal company to come empty the dumpster instead of letting it pile over until garbage pick up day. If I had a dumpster, i sure as hell would be having them come twice a week to keep it empty.

As windy as it is, I bet it blew across the street.
Trach should be picked up twice a day or at least every morning as they do in Hawaii.

it's sad that it's going with the trash Should be recycled. Why is this other company dumpster there? I though everyone in town has to use waste management

And you also said there are too many restrictions. Be careful what you wish for! Don't be putting words in my mouth now. I know that I have said that there should be equal enforcement of our laws. Restaurants having an open dumpster is against our laws, littering is against our laws, but then again so is over-serving but they are able to keep doing that too. I certainly did not say that our current laws should be able to be ignored by a select few. Whose property is this mess really on? I have said that the industrial zoning restriction that are city put on Aquaponics and goes against our laws is wrong and should not have been given. I have also said that we have some very poorly written laws that should be changed. For example, restricting businesses from legally participating in a yearly sidewalk sale or displaying anything outside without a special use permit just seems bad for business. On the other hand, a restriction keeping a restaurant from having an open, over-flowing dumpster with food scraps and another pile of trash next to it, in our downtown creating blight and a possible breeding grounds for all kinds of things, should be in place. I may have said that people should be able to do what they want with their property that is within our laws, such as having laying hens in a commercial district, or painting to make it look better and express an opinion. I have also said that we don't need the talked about new restrictions on businesses. I have been careful of what I wish for, maybe you should be careful of what you claim people have said.

it's sad that it's going with the trash Should be recycled. Why is this other company dumpster there? I though everyone in town has to use waste management Waste Management is the contracted provider for residential disposal. Businesses contract with various disposal companies for a wide range of pick up options, such as daily, twice a week, once a week, etc. I cant see the disposal company putting up with something like this for long. Most contracts say if it it isnt the dumpster, you need to either get more pickups or a bigger dumpster. I occasionally have more than what will fit in my dumpster but I usually help throw the extra stuff in the truck and everything is cool. Common sense would tell me if this was a once in a while thing, I wouldnt put that extra stuff out until pick up day, or when it is windy like today. If it is an all the time issue, I would look at increasing the number of pick ups.
