I saw posted on FB this am, that men, all in black, blocked off Fuller Ave. & Morrell St. & were surrounding a house.
Anyone else hear/know about it?

Yes, they are filming the sequel to Men in Black. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith both got drunk in downtown Streator last night and myself took pkctures and they parked by a fire hydrant and myself took pictures and they painted this building really bad colors and myself took pictures and somebody urinated in the alley and myself took pictures and there was a big brawl in an alley and the cops were there and myself took pictures.
It was a typical Thursday night in Streator except the fact that the cops showed up!

Cool, another thread about my cause to curb the over-serving, fighting, etc. There are some people that have said that don't like hearing about it so much, but this shows that some do want to talk about it. Surveillance footage can be used for evidence
The majority of fights in Streator's City Park are unfounded reports or suspects flee the scene before police arrive, according to data from police reports received in a public records request.- See more at: mywebtimes.com/archives/ottawa/display.php?id=484602#sthash.1tuPx5PO.dpufI find it interesting that there is an article about the fights in City Park, when there are so many more that happen in the streets in nearby areas. I've heard about the "unfounded" excuse before. If someone sees a mugging and the police get distracted by a fight and then another call that takes all four vehicles out of the area so they don't ever take an eyewitness statement or let the victim be pointed out, it ends up being an "unfounded" mugging, even though it did happen. The article didn't include an explanation from the police chief of why they don't take action when people are fighting in their presence and they have to draw a weapon to get them to stop. Is that unfounded too? There needs to be consequences for the offenders or these things will continue to go on too often. It could be any of our loved ones that ends up dead in the streets as a result of these activities. The pictures that I take are also to collect evidence similar to the city's cameras, I am sure that it will pay off in the future. You wouldn't be mocking me for doing the same thing as our city does, would you?

Maybe you could put all your footage together and put it on the public access channel and call it "streator people gone wild"? It could be done as a tongue in cheek political commentary on how you think streator is.

Streator is never going to change,it will always be nick named little Chicago in remembrance of al capon ,the notorious gangster mob that fled here to hide out in back in the days. I've heard stories about a home on water st he hid out in and had escape tunnels running from the home along the river bank. Home of the criminals and strong ties to the mafia.

Sheesh! OT & My, why don't you take it out to the street, Streator style? Yes, rocket, you're closer to why this town's called "Little Chicago" than many reasons I've seen on here.

You're obviously new to this little website. Yes, it is a combined perception of many people in Streator that capturing the crimes digitally is a good idea. That's why trying to poke fun at it being done is so ignorant.

Sheesh! OT & My, why don't you take it out to the street, Streator style? You aren't suggesting more violence are you? Fighting in the streets is a crime and I do not support that. If we didn't do it here, it would limit the entertainment provided for a lot of people, right Troll? I have a popper and the supply chain for bulk popcorn supplies. If I could just figure out a way to send it through the internet, I could probably get rich on here.

So, to get back on topic, was there in fact some sort of problem in the area of Fuller and Morrell? I live in the area and would like to know, if in fact there is any truth to tthis.
