That is what I am saying fm. When you die you don't exist. Yet people claim to get a visit from their loved ones or a stranger looking for help. When you die everything in your life perishes for eternity. All your sense are gone ,your memory ,love, hate, jealously, envy ect. They all persish after death. I misunderstood you, rocket. I thought you meant you go to heaven or hell after death. My bad. Carry on. LOL!

Open question to anybody:
Does believing something about what we call paranormal (...but in the future may be called science...) make it so for you, regardless of whatever proof exists right now, in the present, that may contradict your beliefs?
Is everything and everyone offering proof that you may be wrong - something to simply ignore or disregard without even a cursory investigation by you?
These questions are meant to apply to both belief and disbelief in paranormal events.

Is everything and everyone offering proof that you may be wrong - something to simply ignore or disregard without even a cursory investigation by you? These questions are meant to apply to both belief and disbelief in paranormal events. Good question. I'll answer it. I have never been one to ignore any evidence of anything. We are all still learning about everything. Who we are, who we were before and where we are going in the future. Anything is possible and to not believe there is an afterlife or even that we are alone in the universe is close minded. I've never been really sure there is life after death. I've had experiences but not sure if they could have been explained away, as I have never tried to debunk any of it. Was it a ghost or my imagination? Who knows... In my opinion, the after life is like Bigfoot. Millions of stories of people who have seen this thing, but no proof. Once in a while some dude will get in a monkey suit and have his buddies film it, claiming they found it. Are these shows about capturing ghosts on film the same thing as the dude in the monkey suit? The same with the Lochness Monster, the Abominable Snowman and the Chubracabra. Millions of people swear they have seen it, but again, no proof. However, at one time we knew the world was flat, we believed we were the only living beings that has ever been on this planet, and diseases that used to cut so many lives short is now not even a threat. It wouldn't surprise me if one day the afterlife was confirmed. Real or not. Either way, I can promise you, I won't be surprised by the results.

You've answered my question to the extent that it's apparent that you haven't cared enough to do any research at all concerning the paranormal subjects mentioned by you...and that's fine. To paraphrase your last sentence...either way, you can promise us that you're just not that interested in paranormal subjects to think about them much...let alone do some fact-finding of your own. I think that your post reflects most people's attitudes and is perfectly normal.

Just giving my opinion of the subject.
