So true. The ex-Sante Fe line from Ancona to Pekin was called the "Pumpkin Line" at one time.
Chicago, Pekin and Southwestern Railroad (CP&SW), with only Chicago and Pekin named as intermediate points. The road's first construction contract was dated August 21, 1869, and on January 6, 1873 it was opened from Streator to Pekin.

There is a section of Forbes Field's left outfield wall that is still standing in the middle of the University of Pittsburg Medical Center. It is near and dear to all Pirates fans that became baseball lore when they won the this great World Series game. Who did they beat as heavy underdogs?

Yankees tied it in the top of the 9th in the 7th game of the WS. Pirate's 2nd baseman (Bill Mazeroski) came to the plate. Ralph Terry hung a curveball and it went over Yogi and that wall to end the 1960 World Series. Mickey sat by his locker and cried.

Who was the first president to show a movie picture in the White House? (Probably Col. House was there too)
