I just looked it up....Eddie Miksis (never heard of him) was the 2B and Smalley the SS in 1953 when Banks arrived.

Ur right, Smalley was the shortstop. Could I have been more wrong about Fondy. He was left-handed and played second.

Baseballreference.com has Fondy as the starting 1B.

My thoughts were wandering. I was thinking, how'd he play second being left handed.

I'll take a W.A.G. at it. I'd say it was "U.S. 30 Dragstrip"

Boston was behind in everything. It took them awhile to integrate the Celtics.

Bill Russell had quite a time there at first.

I couldn't help myself. I googled. Will keep my mouth shut for others to guess the right answer. Outside of Ronstadt, she is my fav pop singer. Linda R. could do great Hispanic music, which is popular w/ Mom and me.

My first thought was Sheila E but then I reconsidered and will guess Gloria Estefan.

I agree 1000 percent Dave. The Woman that is the answer to the Question and LR are probably the best pop vocalists of the 70's hands down. Nothing against Cher, She has a STRONG voice as well, but I really like both of these gals a lot. Hard to believe the 'drummer' has been gone for over 30 years now. Now for ROCK, the Wilson sisters of Heart all the way. Heart and Joan Jett will be at the Colesium in Bloomington towards the end of March
