On hot days like today, water usage is at a peak.

No problem at my mom's, daughter's or mine. I've done dishes at all 3, and water is clear, no odor noted.

I have 55 psi per gauge at my house.
You can easily install a water gauge. I used to own a device that screwed on your outside hose connector and screw on a gauge and open the valve and the gauge will give you the water pressure.
Most places in Streator is about 55 psi.
If less, star looking for a closed or partially closed valve, dropped gate or obstruction like rust in a galvanized pipe.

I had all new piping and very rarely saw over 40 PSI.........

I don't have any problems with pressure, it just stinks and tastes nasty when the river levels are low
