I bought a ton of gift cards during that 4x promotion...earned over 8000 points by the end. Thats 8 discounts of $1 each..we get about 30 gallons per fill up so that is saving me $240!!!!! We did alot of shopping at best buy this december n purchased the gift cards ahead of time for 4x points. Everyday you get 2x the points for the third party cards (stores, restaurants)....some rx scripts earn 50 per script which is nice. You don't earn points on liquor or cigarettes but they add up .... i'm more than willing to save a $$ any way its offered. We still have plenty of Mcd's gift cards and pizza hut. Plus i bought some gift cards to put up for as my son helps around the house and does special things without asking i am going to surprise him with a gift card...i love shopping online with them. Kohls ran great deals all Christmas season with 20% off total order and earn kohls cash plus free shipping and i used my kohls gift cards i purchased with 4x points. You can call 1800krogers anytime and they will tell you how many points you have earned and exactly when they were used and how many at the gas station. I have never had a problem with my points and i love redeeming them!

Well said, I try to remember to always pick up gift cards, even if just for myself just for the points

Maybe are you filling up on gas throughout the month? That would be the only explanation I could think of.

you also lose any unused points at the end of each month. I can never figure it out either. I've easily spent $300 in groceries throughout the month then at the end of the month when I need fuel, somtimes I dont have any points at all!

We had over 1000 points. That is where the buck of came from. My wifes meds are extensive & expensive. That is why we always meet the max MOP in May or June for her.
MOP is $3700. As I said. Brutal.

We make sure we fill up with gas and use our points each time we need filled which is about twice a month. I'm going to have to call the Kroger number to see what we are doing wrong. If there's a way to save a dime I'm looking for it.
There will be no doubts with our receipts, hubby is Neurotic and uses excel spread sheets to track every penny spent in this household. It's a nightmare come tax time but I shouldn't have any problems checking on the points from our receipts.

I check the reciept, when leaving the store, for points & exp. date.
BTW, I found the reciept, in my jacket pocket from Dec. & buying a gift card & I wasn't charged any kind of "Fee"
