As we experience abnormally high temperatures, remember to keep your pets cool! They are your famliy & companions...
Bring them inside or keep them in the shade & water bowls filled!

No matter how bad the queen here carries on about wanting to go outside..she stays in until the sun starts to set behind the house.

Chester can handle it pretty well. He likes to sun bath on the concrete drive. Our other dog did her business & wanted back inside ASAP.
Dive, today would also be a fun time to do a roof. (NOT THE HOT TAR KIND!)

(NOT THE HOT TAR KIND!) My dog is the same way..cries to go out and sun bath and 10 minutes later he is barking to come back in.. I soaked him with the cold hose then thought maybe that wasnt a good idea being the sun might heat him faster wet.. Back inside to dry off

I bring my little girl out twice cause she can't hold it all day. She goes real quick and then inside for some icewater. She does real well with that. I also have a small floor fan that stays on all day, even when the air is on. She sits in front of it off and on all day.

It is very hot out. I was suprised to see the kids out in front of the YMCA when it was 95 degrees playing their instruments. That is kinda risky if you ask me!

I've always wondered how farm animals survive this kind of heat. I see them out in a pasture of grass laying down while the sun is baring down on them. If there''s not a Creek or stream for them to gather in, what keeps cattle and other farm animals cool? Dogs and Cats pant, do farm animals do the same?
