Well its not over until you know who sings. That is my collection of the 1989 Carnival filling the park full of rides. There were a few more rides and games not shown. In total in 1989: 30 Rides, 25 Games, 10 Food Concessions, 2 Side shows, and the World Famous Robinson's racing pigs. Everyone, please remember tonight, when you are watching Streator's FANTASTIC Fireworks show, that this is all done by a Committee of non paid volunteers. Donations are needed to keep the Celebration alive. The City gives some resources but does not pay for the parade, fireworks, or other activities. This is all done through donations, carnival proceeds, volunteers non paid hard work, and the AUTO LOTTO. Like second chance said, please buy your AUTO LOTTO ticket! We do not want to end up like Streator was back in the early to mid 80's with no celebration and everyone having to drive to Henry or other communities to enjoy a celebration. This is one great festival that our Community should be very proud of and hope it continues to flourish. Happy 4th of July everyone and God Bless the Men and Women in Uniform that keep this great Country Free!!!!!! Attachments:

these pics were wonderful and very sad to see what use to be compared to what is now. i remember those days, almost out of high school. i dont pay for crap and that is what has been coming last few years. i have not been to carnival in years. i have been able to bribe son w/ the money that it would cost for arm band or take him to enchanted forrest or water park. its not worth the cost for what is offerred. what happened to jim murphys? that was good one and last one i took son to.
